If it doesn't work out on here you could check airbnb or couch surfing. Nice alternatives to hotels, especially if you don't have others to split the cost of a hotel room with.

I see you will be north with the rich cool suburban people and not in the south where our assets constantly get rearranged by tornadoes.

I use to go up to north OKC/Edmond a bit when I lived down there, that's where all the "exclusive stores" (like Macys lol) were until recently.
